Family Support

One of the latest ventures at Revesby Uniting Church is the development of support programs for younger families.

Since 2009, and now in 2010, we are offering two different sorts of groups. One is to assist new parents with sleep, settling and feeding issues for their infants, aged 0 - 12 months. The second group focuses on managing the behaviour of toddlers and young children up to 12 years of age using the well respected "1,2,3 Magic" program.

These programs are delivered by an experienced early childhood nurse with wide experience, including post graduate qualifications in infant mental health.

The sleep and settling program will run from 10.00am to 12.00pm on the 3rd and 4th Saturdays of February, May, July, September and November 2009.

The groups for learning how to manage children's behaviour will be organised around the ages of the children being considered. These groups will run from 9.30am to 12.30pm on the 3rd and 4th Saturdays of March, June, August and October 2009.

All groups will run at Revesby Uniting Church, 219 The River Road, Revesby.
